Anyone gotten the new P&P RPG book for the WoW RPG, Lands of Mystery?
Lots of new information on the South Seas and Northrend, basically describing these new areas in pretty complete detail. Basically it looks like Blizzard gave the White Wolf guys their design docs for the next 2 expansions.
The Maelstrom: Underneath the Maelstrom, under the sea, is the Rift, a gash in the world where the original Well of Eternity was located before the Sundering. In the walls of the Rift lies Nazjetar, the capital city of the Naga, ruled over by the evil Queen Azshara. I bet she'll be the end boss of the 2nd expansion.
Other interesting areas are Pillar Deep, a huge area of gigantic tubeworms, and Mark'aru, the capital city of the Makrura civilization. The Makrura are described as being an intelligent undersea race fighting against the Naga and their Mur'gul slaves, and that the Alliance may be trying to establish diplomatic contacts with them. Predictions for the second expansion: Makrura as an Alliance race, a renegade Naga group as the Horde race.
South Seas: This area is described in great detail.
The Isle of Kezan is where the goblin capital of Undermine is located. Lots of information on the Trade Princes and the history of the goblins, as well as the Hobgoblins, giant purple skinned mutated goblins.
The Shattered Isles is where the Tomb of Sargeras and some other Night Elf ruins lie.
Plunder Isle is the secret base of the Bloodsail Pirates, with their main fortification of Bloodsail Hold.
Zandalar Isle is the home of the jungle trolls in their gigantic metropolis of Zuldazar. The King of all the trolls, King Rastakhan, rules here, and it describes how all the troll tribes in the world meet here every 6 years to plot their coming conquest of the world and reunification of the old troll empire.
Northrend: A large section of the book is devoted to Northrend. I'm betting this will be the 3rd expansion.
Coldarra is the stronghold of the Blue Dragonflight, in an ancient ice fortress called the Nexus, which is where the Dragon Aspect Malygos makes his home.

The Grizzly Hills are where the Grizzlemaw Furbolgs have their capital.
Zul'Drak is the home of the Drakkari ice trolls and their Frost King.
The Dragonblight has a Horde outpost and Wyrmrest Temple, an ancient Titan city that has been taken over by the Blue Dragons. The Magnataur village of Bloodmar lies here too.

Crystalsong Forest is where the 5th Great Tree and the 5th portal to the Emerald Dream is located.

The Shalozar Basin is an Un'goro Crater-like area of tropical jungles in the midst of Northrend.

The Howling Fjord is where the Alliance outpost of Valgarde is located.
The underground empire of Azjol-Nerub is described, both the Upper and Lower Kingdoms. The Lower Kingdom is occupied by still living Nerubians, and it describes the Alliance efforts to possibly get them to join in the Alliance against the Scourge. The Upper Kingdom is overrun with Scourge Undead and the mysterious Faceless Ones.
The Borean Tundra is where the Tuskarr (walrus men) make their homes, as well as the location of the Naga stronghold of the Riplash Ruins.
The Icecrown Glacier is of course where the Scourge's capital, the Icecrown Citadel, is located. The Citadel itself is described in detail.

The Storm Peaks is where the mysterious race of Storm Giants live. The third Titan city of Ulduar is also described.
Lots of description is given to the civilizations of the Blue Dragonflight, the Magnataur, the Murlocs, and the Nerubians. Finally, some new classes (for the pen and paper game) are described, such as Spirit Walkers and Techno Mages, that could be quite interesting in the MMOG as well.
Great book and some great lore. Great maps of all the world locations. Recommended for any WoW lore junkies.
