Thread: Blurred Lines
- Is it "objectifying" women and promoting Rape/Rape Culture?
If you're referring to the game TERA:
I honestly do think there is quite a distinction between sexualizing something sexual, and sexualizing adventurers and little children.
Let's face it: When was the last time you saw a porn star stripped to her underwear fight a war while squealing and bouncing giddily? Yes, there is a lot of nudity in violent entertainment, but that is usually to show the power of the body. It is a tool to impress. Not to attract.
I have no problems with sex, and I honestly wouldn't care if two or more people got it going on in public. Sex is just sex; it's fun, it's nice, it's attractive. But my gods, TERA makes it look disgusting.
