Think of it like this. 50W (Won) is like a quarter in Korea. If you do your math, it's about 25,000W for $24USD. BTW, 10,000W isn't really that much there. I could buy 10 Pepsi's from a vending machine there for 10,000W.
And to the person who mentioned Korea being upsessed with Blizzard games...it's true. They have TV shows on people explaining WC or SC strategy's, every internet cafe there having every Blizzard game on every one of their machines AND (believe this or not, but my uncle told me this and he works for a huge @$$ computer firm) almost every newly assembled machine has SC installed on it free of charge lol. Yes, even business machines.
So why wouldn't Blizzard want to sell their new product to a nation that basically has every person in it buying and playing their products? (Yes, even adults believe it or not...my uncle, aunts and even my grandma can whoop me in SC sadly...). If you ask the higher ups of Blizzard just why they're making games...they would say for the money obviously.
As for what I've read, they're also on completely different servers...so what does it matter if they beat (as someone mentioned above) some 0's and 1's?
And before declaring somebody a hacker automatically just because they did something first and took less time to do it is just being plain stupid. Sure, they might be using hacks...or not, show me some proof first. If you can't, just means your not trying hard enough.
I can also safely justify what I've said up above because I've lived in Korea for 2 years and go there every other summer to visit relatives.
