Vorazun's Oracles

 

I am a Korean user with master level 178. I want to share what we think of the Oracles in the Korean community. Please understand my english is not so good.

 

The Oracle is the only mobile detection available to Vorazun, but it has many drawbacks. It usually outruns the main army due to its fast speed, and often gets focused down first. It is not cloaked, which leaves it unprotected by the cloaked Corsairs and Dark Templar, again making it an easy target. This lowers the detection ability of Vorazun to near-nonexistent on offensive situations.

 

The skills of the Oracle are not very good either. Pulsar beams can only attack ground and does not add much to Vorazun's firepower. Stasis wards are not bad, but with the crowd control that Black Hole and Time Stop already provides, it is often unnessary. Also, Shadow Fury from mass Dark Templar can start a fight with destroying a large portion of enemy ground forces, which makes anti-ground crowd control much less useful. Compared to other detector units with skills, like Ravens, Havocs, or Science Vessels, Oracles are easily taken down while they contribute much less.

 

So, what I would like to suggest is a simple buff of the Oracle, enabling it to get the effect of Stealth Drive. This will increase their survivability greatly. It will be a simple yet highly effective upgrade which makes Vorazun less dependent on her ally (or Time Stop) for detection.​
