Greetings ---, Congratulations, you’ve been selected to join the StarCraft® II: Legacy of the Void™ multiplayer closed beta test! Legacy of the Void is the epic conclusion of the StarCraft II saga focused on the technologically advanced Protoss and their fight to save the galaxy from oblivion. To download the beta, head to the StarCraft II section of the Battle.net® desktop app (select Region / Account > Beta: Legacy of the Void), or just click the button below.  Note that for this beta, you'll need to create a new Character name, and your Friends List will not carry over from our other games.

This phase of the Legacy of the Void closed beta test focuses on the multiplayer aspects of the game, including the new cooperative Archon mode, so ramp up your APM and dive into the battle. Check below to see what’s warping into the beta:

A host of new units have been added to the game. Test out some of the new weapons at your disposal, like the AOE’tasticDisruptor, locked-on Cyclone, or the bombarding Ravager.

Many of the current units have gone under the knife with some changes, including new strengths and abilities. Jump into the fray with your Battlecruiser, disintegrate your foes using the Tempest, or launch an aerial assault with the Swarm Host.

Your feedback is important to us, and we need your help to make Legacy of the Void as awesome as possible. For this reason, we decided to start the beta sooner than we normally would have in the past, providing ample time for feedback and iteration. Legacy of the Void beta forums will be available soon, and we're looking forward to hearing what you think—in the meantime, check out our Beta FAQ. As you’re playing, feel free to take screenshots, stream, and share your experiences with the rest of the community.
