"I'm going to be talking about my own things now, as there isn't anything important to translate.

이제는 제 이야기를 하려합니다. 통역을 할만큼 중요한 것은 없으니까요.

First of all, I want to say that I have great respect for NesTea, not just because he won the tournament,

일단, 임재덕 선수에게 존경을 표하고자 합니다. 이번 대회에서 우승해서 뿐만 아니라

but because this guy had the courage to do what he wanted to do, and prove he was right.

또한 자신이 원하는 것을 할 수 있는 용기를 가졌고 자신이 옳았다는 것을 증명했기 때문입니다.

I'm saying this because too many people, even in Korea, consider playing games a waste of time.

왜 이러한 이야기를 하느냐면, 한국에서조차, 게임을 하는 것을 시간낭비라고 여기기 때문입니다.

I myself was unemployed for two years - about a half, a year and a half - before I joined GOM.

저도 GOMTV에 입사하기 전까지 2년동안 -1년하고 반년정도- 실직상태였습니다.

All I did was play games at home, and my friends would say that I'm wasting my life.

그때 저는 집에서 게임을 계속 했습니다 그리고 제 친구들은 제가 인생을 낭비하고 있다고 했겠죠.

Well, who's laughing now? I ask them, "can you honestly say, do you like your job?"

이제는 누가 웃고있나요? 저는 그들에게 "정말 네 직업을 좋아하니?"라고 묻습니다.

And I ask them, "do you have a fan who draws a fan art just for you?" That shuts them up.

또 "너는 너만을 위해 팬아트를 그려주는 팬이 있니?" 라고 묻습니다. 그러면 그들은 말을 못하죠.

So every time you feel ashamed of being a nerd because your friends, teachers, neighbors, or even parents think gaming's a waste of time,

그러니 친구들, 선생님, 이웃, 심지어 부모님도 게임이 인생을 낭비하는 것이라고 여겨서 당신이 덕후(Nerd)인것이 부끄럽다면,

you remember: there's no such thing as wasting life as long as you have the courage to do what you like and be passionate about it.

기억하세요. 당신이 열정을 갖고 있는 것에 대해 용기를 가지고 하는 한 인생의 낭비란 없습니다.

You remember: if NesTea listened to all of those criticisms, he wouldn't be standing there with a trophy.

만약 임재덕 선수가 모든 비판을 들었다면 그는 우승할 수 없었을 겁니다.

And you remember that even if you feel nobody around you supports you, I, Jay, Artosis, Tasteless, and everyone at GOM will support you. Why? Because we believe in e-sports."

또한 기억하세요. 누구도 당신을 지지하지 않는 것 같이 느껴지더라도 저, Jay, Artosis, Tasteless 그리고 GOMTV에 있는 모든 사람들이 당신을 지지할 겁니다. 왜냐구요? 우리는 E-Sports를 믿으니까요."

이 스피치를 들은 해외의 양덕을은 그를 거의 받들어 모시기 시작합니다. 엄청난 호응을 얻었고요.

2. 2011 GSL Oct. 결승 @ 블리즈컨 이후

"Well many of my friends or parents would say: 'It's just a game John, quit it.'

많은 친구들과 제 부모님은 이렇게 얘기했을 겁니다 '그냥 게임이야. 포기해'

But being here today, people from all over the world being together and sharing this moment is something that politics or money can't do, and it's a miracle.

하지만 오늘 여기 전 세계에서 모인 여러분들과 함께 이 순간을 함께하고 있는 것은 정치도, 돈도 할 수 없는 일입니다. 기적같은 일이죠.

And it is so very easy for us, people like us, who is doing the productions to forget, that we just provide the tools, and it's actually the fans that make the e-sports.

또 우리같은 스탭들은 우리는 단지 도구를 제공할 뿐이고 E-Sports를 만들어가는 것은 팬들이라는 것을 잊기 매우 쉽습니다.

Thank you for reminding me of that, and if anyone ever doubts your passions towards e-sports,

그것을 다시 한 번 상기시켜줘서 고맙습니다. 그리고 만약 누구라도 E-Sports를 향한 여러분의 열정에 대해 뭐라고 한다면,

당신이 이곳 2011 블리즈컨에 있었고 GSL 결승전을 봤다고 말해주세요, 너무나 고맙습니다. 사랑합니다.

잘 들어보면 스피치를 하려한다고 했을때 엄청난 환호가 들립니다. 정말 엄청난.... 그리고 그는 GSL을 우승했다는 소리를 들었습니다 (어?)
