Only nine months after the previous finals, TeamLiquid introduces their third StarLeague, now being played in StarCraft 2. The player pool has expanded to 32 attendees, while 13 invitees from Korea and other places in Asia will participate in this tournament.

Despite these seeds and invitees, people playing on the North American and European servers have the chance to grab one of the 16 remaining spots. Eight winners of the TeamSpeak TL SC2 Opens will qualify automatically, whereas the next eight players will be determined in order of rank points they earned throughout these qualification tournaments.

The main competition, remunerated with a prize pool of $34,500 USD, will be held throughout March and April this year, with its grand final being broadcasted live from New York City. The venue, though, does not allow fans to follow the action on site.

More information on commentators, players, and the TSL 3 raffle, which will send two users to South Korea for GSL's grand final and a oGs-Liquid team house tour, will be announced in the upcoming days and weeks.

전 경기 결승전 후 아직 9개월 밖에 지나지 않았지만 3번째 스타리그를 개최하며 스타크래프트2로 게임은 진행된다. 참여하는 선수층이 한국선수를 포함한 기타 아시아지역에서의 13명의 초대받은 선수들과 함께 총 32명으로 한층 두터워졌다.
미리 시드를 배정받은 선수와 초정 받은 선수들이 차지한 자리를 제외하더라도 북미와 유럽서버에서의 게이머들도 16개의 남은 자리를 차지할수 있는 기회가 있을 것이다. 팀스피크 TL SC2경기에서의 8명의 우승자들은 자동적으로 참가자격을 획들할 것이고 나머지 8자리를 예선전 토너먼트에서 얻은 랭크 포인트(죄송합니다 내용으로 이게 정확하게 뭔지 안나와있어요 그냥 랭크 포인트임 --;)로 인해서 결정될것이다.
