GSL에서 저그의 약세에대해서 블리자드에 징징글입니다.
Fruitseller등장..ㅋㅋㅋ
번역은 영어공부한답시고 수루룩 읽어보세욤.
Before I begin I must admit that I am a zerg player. However, this post isn't from playing the game, but watching the game. I am not raging about how I lost to a noob terran. I don't complain EVER about my gameplay.
I'm watching GSL and I've been fan of the E-Sports and MSL for years. I've even been to MSL finals in 2007. Anyways, this doesn't really matter. What it really matters is that Zerg is CLEARLY at a disadvantage even at the very top professional level. You have to play perfectly like Won-Ki Kim aka 과일장수 (fruitseller) as a zerg to grab a win. Even he complains that zerg is at disadvantage. In addition, forumers from all around the world at various skill levels are complaining how zerg is weak and all.
It isn't simply a mere trolling from Idra anymore. It's more than that: this isn't about just zerg anymore. The game being imbalanced is driving the professional level of game play to be very linear. You don't see those back-in-the-day brilliant games where so much could happen and so much units were utilized to its fullest capability in pro games anymore. You saw more action in Brood War that didn't have those amazing interfaces and automatic functions that SC2 has than in SC2. It's just so boring to watch when you see almost all terrans going MMM against protoss and protoss going 4 gate against every single zerg there is. You don't believe me? Out of the few ZvP games we had in GSL, protoss went 4 gate more than 80% of the time. When you see a single strategy getting implied over and over, it is an indication of imbalance. As an RTS game, developed to become a major E-Sports game, should provide players with varieties of strategies with EQUAL chance of winning if played properly. Yes, this is insanely hard to do. But, it's not that hard to get closer to it than right now.
Why are you, Blizzard, not doing anything even after all those complaints during beta about imbalance between races? The main reason that Brood War was so successful was that Blizzard spent hours and hours into balancing the game. Blizzard already had months of beta to balance the game out, but they failed in doing so before the release. Snap out and make this game a great game that will last for next 10 years like you did to Brood War. Listen to players, PLEASE.
